Labastida, Rioja Alavesa. Vino de Finca. Tempranillo 100%
This wine comes from a vineyard which is over one hundred years old. Fermentation is carried out at 25ºC for 12 days in American oak barrels. Maceration takes place for 10 days after the fermentation has finished. Barrels are used for the Malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 18 months in the same oak barrels that were used for fermentation. The wine is left to round in the bottle for 18 months in our bottle cellar before it is released for sale.
Colour: Intense cherry.
Aroma: Very complex. Rich floral and fruit aromas with well integrated fine notes of toast and creaminess from the oak.
Mouth: Powerful, delicious, harmonious, with ripe fruits and notes of creaminess from the oak. Warm and expressive finish.
Service Temperature: 16°C.
Charcuterie, cheese and red meat. Casseroles and roasts.
