Mitarte Maceración Carbónica
Labastida, Rioja Alavesa. Tempranillo 80%, Garnacha 15%, Viura 5%
The grapes are harvested by hand during the last fortnight of October. Fermentation takes place using the Carbonic Maceration technique for 6 days at 24ºC.
Colour: Cherry red with a blue rim which shows the wine´s youth. Medium high intensity, bright and clean.
Aroma: Floral notes to start followed by ripe red fruit.
Mouth: Intense flavour, velvety, meaty, with silky tannins that envelop the palate with an exquisite roundness. A smooth, well structured wine. Retro nasal aromas of cranberries and cherries.
Service Temperature: 14°C.
Goes well with everything. Drink as an aperitif, with rice dishes and fresh fish.
